May the Naive Bear Our Shame For Us

She smiled like everything was okay, and that she did nothing wrong by running away. The chit of a girl requested to visit home before they left. Lydia did not feel, nor will ever feel, the shame she has brought upon us with her foolish actions. To her, everything was as it should be, while we wear our fake smile and wear a pretense that burns us inside. Let her be gone, and all our anger with her. We have no more use for it; Lydia will not be back for a long time.     .....wow, that rant felt pretty good. I apologize to all those who are hurt by this message, but no one can say it is not true.

  1. This is why she is such an awful sister, not only to you, but to your other sisters too. At least you have your looks and personality, for they have nothing to back them up. Elizabeth is shooting for another chance with Darcy (which Lydia probably ruined) while Kitty and Mary are still looking around for potential husbands. You wonder why she got married because she obviously did not love the man, but I think why get married when the man has no money?

  2. I must say Jane dear that it is quite refreshing to hear you speek in such a harsh manner. Truly, I believe you should do it more often. It is quite unhealthy to bottle up your emotions like this. If you ever need some one to vent to.... i suggest you speak to Lizzie.

  3. This could have all been avoided if the proper parenting would have been inplace from the start of her existance. Because of all these problems, they have not only affected the Bennets, it has also affected my profits on the estate. Also, Elizabeth should be worried, for no man wants to marry a woman with baggage. Lydia better be prepared for a rude awakening if Wickham ever leaves her, which is possible, because no one in her family will like her at that point
