May the Naive Bear Our Shame For Us

She smiled like everything was okay, and that she did nothing wrong by running away. The chit of a girl requested to visit home before they left. Lydia did not feel, nor will ever feel, the shame she has brought upon us with her foolish actions. To her, everything was as it should be, while we wear our fake smile and wear a pretense that burns us inside. Let her be gone, and all our anger with her. We have no more use for it; Lydia will not be back for a long time.     .....wow, that rant felt pretty good. I apologize to all those who are hurt by this message, but no one can say it is not true.

Finding Walldo

How peculiar it was that they were found. Out of everyone that was searching for poor Lydia and Wickham, Mr. Darcy was the last one I would have bet on. It appears that they were hiding with an old acquaintance of Wickham's, who Darcy knew about. And when they were found, Wickham demanded money so he would even marry my sister, as if it wasn't obvious enought that he didn't want to marry her. The GALL of him. We are luck to have an uncle such as Mr. Gardiner, who was willing to pay off his debts.

The Trials We Put Ourselves Through

With all the tension in the air following Father's return, it painfully obvious that everyone is blaming themselves, that they could have stopped this from happening. I know I've been blaming myself. Father feels he should have taken Lizzy;s warning more seriously, and Lizzy seems to feel she should have pursued it farther. Everyone is dwelling, I can only hope we find them soon.

Keeping Hope

Lizzy will be home soon. I can only hope it will be for the best. It was obvious in her reply that Lydia's desertion has pained her. But she will be home soon, where we can bear it together. Father has sent no new news as of yet. Kitty blames her self, for keeping Lydia and Wickham's relationship a secret from us, but there is no point in that now. the only things that matters is that they are found safe and sound. Their disappearance from intended destination is almost as nerve wracking as their first disappearance. Father, please hurry.

Expect the Unexpected

Lizzy, how do I say this? How do I tell you that you were right about Lydia,  without causing you pain? I fear it is impossible, but I must try. Lydia has run off with Wickam, and is no where to be found. Father is in town looking for her, and mother has become ill from the stress. Just when you have finally gotten back on track with Mr. Darcy, I have to go ruin it for you. Oh, how I am dreading this call, however it must be done.

Visiting Hours

With Lydia gone, and Mr. Darcy to worry about, Lizzy has been stressed to much as of late. I think visiting with Mrs. Gardiner and going to see Pemberly will do her good. Father was sad to see her go, as she was not home long.

The Waiting Game

what a way to leave off!. the last thing I heard form Lizzy was about Mr. Darcy's surprise proposal. but with the two of them so near each other, it is almost impossible to avoid each other. I am in anticipation of her next call. Sometimes the wait is worth it and sometimes not. I have to say though, I am getting tired of waiting. for all the time I've spent in London, I have yet to see hide or tail of Mr. Bingley. It's time to head home in a few weeks, I think.
